I'm not seeing links that look like that using IE7 under Windows XP.
The links I see are in the form:

Left clicking on a link brings up the save dialog and even right
clicking and picking "Save Target As..." worked for downloading.
I'm not sure what problem you may be running into.

That link you see from the main page of my site is
a mask set up by something external due to updating
my system to protect me. It does not work singly.
Go to my web site first and then click on the download
hyperlink there.

I am thinking whether we should use 80x48 rather than 40x40 since it
is closer to 640x400 aspect ratio. This is Double Lores (supported in
IIe, //c and IIGS...) with the text screen off (Lores is 40x48 without
text).
Do you happened to know the color names of all the 16 colors? Someone
should have written it somewhere...
